I'm Perry Lowe, a lifelong resident of Bastrop, and a proud husband and father. My wife and I have been blessed with four children, and together we've built a life in this wonderful community. With 26 years of marriage and a deep commitment to family values, I'm running for City Council to ensure Bastrop remains a thriving place for our family and the citizens of Bastrop.
For over 20 years, I worked in radio with CBS Radio, Viacom, Infinity Broadcasting, and Entercom Austin, building valuable communication and leadership skills. Currently, I serve as a board member of the Bastrop Live Music Foundation and as a member of the Bastrop Juneteenth Committee, where I am passionate about promoting our community’s culture and heritage. For over 20 years, I've served as a bible study teacher and Minister of Music at Trinity Zion Ministries, reflecting my commitment to faith and community.
I believe a strong community is built on transparency, inclusivity, and collaboration. If elected, I will advocate for community engagement, affordable housing, sustainable development, support for local businesses, improved infrastructure, public safety, the arts, and environmental protection. I will work tirelessly to ensure that every voice in our community is heard and valued.
